Venue The Grove Car Park, Hamsterley Forest
The 40k route this year will be ridden anti-clockwise, as last year. We will still have forest tracks to begin the ride, then there is the moorland stretch over Bollihope, we have cut out the road work after CP1, there are field tracks instead and then past the "Elephant Trees", "Pawlaw Pike" and "Five Pikes" (Fabulous views from here 360 deg.) continuing back through the forest on some bridleways and tracks back to the venue. The 32k route takes in a short stretch of moorland on Bollihope Common as well as forest tracks. The 25k and 15k are all in the forest .
